Day Twos and Dates

There has been much derision on dating. Most mPUAs recommend avoiding them at all costs. Once again though this depends, there is a time and a place. You need to know what is appropriate.

Girls date, they know what a date is and they expect to date guys. A hot girl will go on lots of dates. To a girl a date does not really mean anything, it is something she can do a lot, withoutt feeling like a slut.

The problem with dates is that you are in a situation where most of the time the woman expects that you want to sleep with her, and that you are trying to win her, not the other way round like you want it. This is why you use day twos. Day twos are meets more than dates, they are basically dates but where you remove the aspect where you are trying to impress her.

A day two is where she comes along to something that you are doing anyway (normally where you are meeting other people anyway eg to a party you are going to, out with your mates), a date is where you do something different for her.

A day two communicates that you do not ascribe to her too much value. This will almost always the best thing do. The only time when it is not is when you have done most of the work and all she needs is to know that you value her and you are not just taking her for a ride.

This is what happened to Style in The Game. He finally met the woman of his dreams and he nearly threw it away because he was so intent on being distant. All she needed was a date, she wanted to know that if she gave herself to him she would not get hurt.

To summarise, if you are in doubt day two is always the fallback. However if she likes you already, a date may be better.
