On not being a dick

In my opinion the key to all this is to be (forgive the "new age" terminology here) at one with yourself. My quest to be good with women has been as much about making myself generally happy as anything else. You are never going to do this by being a dick.

According to RSD Tim, the number 1 rule is: "Don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks". Brilliant advice, it still helps me everyday. What this means to me is that you have to trust in yourself. If you truly believe you are a good person you will act accordingly. You don't need to consider everyone's feelings all the time you are a good person and whatever you do will most likely be fair and balanced. Do whatever it is with the confidence that you know what you are doing and it is almost certainly the right decision.

You know when you are being selfish, don't worry about what people might think. You know when you are being unreasonable, don't worry about what may be the case. Being true to yourself means that you understand that everyone does not have to like you.

This attitude can make somepeople go to far though. Indeed some so called MPUAs even advocate this as it is very alpha. But at what cost? Do you want to be the kind of guy that everyone thinks is a dick but gets lots of girls? Is that really a price worth paying? That kind of guy has to go looking for girls. Cool guys get found by girls, other girls tell their friends about them guys introduce them to their sisters and cousins.

Some people might say "you know what? fuck it, I just want to get laid". Fair play, but you will find the sort of girls you get are the sort of girls that other guys want to stay away from. These kind of girls will often hate them selves and be selfish and souless. These kind of girls will drain your positive energy. They are the kind of girls that will scream at you and stalk you. They are the kind of girls that will give you an STD and not care.

Know yourself, make sure you are a positive and good person. Do this and not only will you be able to go up and pick girls up but they will come to you. It will help you handle rejection and stop you being embarrassed. It will make you happy and it will improve the lives of those around you.
